Happy New Year, y’all! I hope your celebrations were filled with all the joy! I was so happy to see you all on Monday.
This week we continued with the letter “g” and our story of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. We heard about how they traveled to Egypt shortly after birth to escape from King Herod. Herod was not a good king. When he heard about the birth of Jesus he wanted to hurt him. After King Herod died, Joseph took Mary and Jesus to Nazareth in Galilee to live. Next week, we’ll learn about the letter “d”, dinosaurs and drums. I heard we might even be able to ride a dinosaur too. On Tuesday and Friday feel free to visit our cafe in the gym and grab a cup of coffee to go. It opens at 7:45am and the cost is a donation to the 7th and 8th grade class trip. Wednesday is AM chapel, and parents are always welcome to join. Thursday we’ll have our monthly Art Club meeting in the basement from 3-4:30pm. Preschool is always welcome with a parent. Come check it out!
