This week’s Bible story focused on King Solomon. Solomon was the son of King David. When he became king, God told him he could ask for anything he wanted. Instead of asking for money or power, Solomon asked for wisdom so he could be a good king. God was very pleased and gave him great wisdom, along with riches and honor. During his reign, King Solomon built a beautiful Temple for God. The Temple was covered in gold and built with only the finest wood, and it was filled with beautiful decorations and carvings. When the temple was finished, Solomon placed the Ark of the Covenant inside a room called the Most Holy Place, and a great cloud—the presence of God—filled the Temple. There are a few things coming up! On Monday, 11/10/25 the bookmobile will be here. If your student would like to borrow a book to bring home, send your library card in with them. On 11/25/25, Zion will host a Thanksgiving Parade to celebrate and give thanks for our awesome families!! We will have two parades that day. AM preschool will have our very own parade at 11am (parents meet us in the gym that day!). If your student has a sibling in the 3pm parade they are welcome to walk again! Here’s a tutorial, and another, for you and your kiddo to check out to help decorate your float. Moms, dads, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents are welcome to come!
Finally, here are our pictures from our week.
