Nov. 10-14

Hello Parents,

Well, we've made it past Halloween. Now it's on to the next thing.

Last week we got to blow bubbles IN THE CLASSROOM and we didn't get yelled at! We could even blow bubbles until they fell on the floor! Then we even used the bubbles to paint! Finally, we painted with balloons! Letter "b" sure is fun!

On Thursday, the afternoon kids got to go to a Pep Rally. That was definitely something new for us, but we sure caught on quickly how to run threw the "tunnel" of pom poms! Last week was fun. There was just 1 sad thing to tell you about last week. On Friday, Mrs. Dorow got a phone call letting her know that 1 of our classmates has Hand, Foot and Mouth disease. So please keep an eye out for fever, sores in the mouth, hands and feet, or drooling. When Mrs. Siebert and Mrs. Dorow found out about it, they sanitized all the toys and the classroom. Hopefully, this will help control the spread of this disease. Cleaning and especially sanitizing will be a big priority next week.

Next week we are going to learn about the letter "l." We will also learn about love, leaves, and lions. We will also be learning about the number 7.

We have also started to learn one of our songs that we will be singing and signing for our Christmas program. Our teachers are very happy with how quickly we are learning it! We have also started to learn to ring the Color Bells. Mrs. Dorow says we have room for improvement, but so far, we really seem to like it. Mrs. Dorow sure is excited for us to ring for you, however. And speaking of the Christmas program...after talking with Mr. Schneck about that, Mrs. Dorow found out that we usually combine the morning and afternoon Preschool groups to perform the Christmas program together! So please plan for the children to perform their program on Wed, December, 17th at 10:30 am. So what about the rest of the school day? Well, on that Wed, BOTH morning and afternoon sessions will come to the school at 8:00 am. We will spend the day practicing together (for the first time), and getting to know one another. At 10:30 we will present our Christmas program to you in our church. (This program will be about Jesus and His birth.) When we are finished with the program, our school day will be done. There will not be an afternoon class that day. We will be talking about this with you again as the day gets closer.

Have a great weekend! May God bless you and give you  joy and fulfillment.
