Peanut allergies!

 Dear Parents,

I want to remind you that we have 2 SEVERE PEANUT ALLERGIES this school year. These allergies are so severe for each child that we have EpiPens for them. So please, be extra careful about the foods you pack for your child's snack! This literally could be a matter of life or death. I don't mean to sound dramatic, but this IS the situation. That is why we have the children wash their hands as soon as they enter the classroom. We don't want the children to have any residual peanut butter on their hands.

This week we are on the letter "m." We are learning about music,  especially the mandolin. We are also listening to Bluegrass music as the mandolin is usually played for this genre of music. We are also looking at the number 1. We are trying to be extra careful when we count things to count with a one-to-one correspondence.

The children have been asking about Show-and-Tell.  So starting next week Thursday (Sept 11th), all the children are invited to bring in a Show-and-Tell "thing." This can be a toy, a stuffy, or even a picture. If you have more questions, please don't hesitate to call me.

Serving Christ in Joy,
