Owls, O’s, Octopi, and more!

This week was “O” week in preschool. We learned about our 1st vowel and the different sounds it makes in different words.

In our Bible story we heard about Mary and Joseph and how the angel, Gabriel, came to visit Mary. Mary was surprised and scared, but Gabriel said, “Don’t be afraid, Mary! God is with you! God has chosen you to have a baby, you will name Him Jesus, and He will be God’s son, and He will be King and His nation will have no end.” Mary replied, “I am God’s helper I am willing to do what He wants.” Mary’s heart was filled with joy. She knew she was chosen for something very special.

Next week we’ll be busy learning about the letter “J”. J is for Jesus, the greatest gift! We’ll also continue learning our lines and songs for our Christmas service on December 17th. Then we’ll start our Christmas break off right with our class Christmas party on December 18th. Wooooohooooo!

If anyone has any pictures from our Imagination Station field trip that could possibly make it in the yearbook, please text it to me at (808) 223-2621. Email works too! LSeibert@zionmonroe.org I’ve created an album for my friend Meg, who puts our yearbook together every year.

Have a blessed weekend! I’ll see you all Monday!
