Hello! I can hardly believe that we are already done with 2 weeks of school! To be honest, the kids are so adjusted to the schedule already that I feel like we've been in school for 2 months instead of just 2 weeks! The kids are so awesome! I am just so proud of them! They do a wonderful job already of paying attention. They are ready and eager to learn. What a joy for a teacher!!
This 3rd week of school is going to start the "real" school experience, however. We will start doing pages in our "Math book" this week. We will also start learning the letters of the alphabet this week. We will be going in order, so we will start with "A." We will be learning about Alexander Alligator, so hopefully your child will be telling about some alligator facts this coming week.
We have started to work on our songs we will be singing and ringing for Grandparents day! I'm excited already for that day!! We have also started to learn the song we will be singing in church on Sept. 13th with the K-2 students. There are already so many exciting things to get ready for!
Finally, if you are interested, we have a wish list for some toys for our room. If you are able and willing, we would be so grateful if you could buy a few items on that list. If you don't have the resources to do that, we completely understand!
