This week was all about rhyming! We heard about Humpty Dumpty and his fall and we moved our fingers and arms to Ten Little Fingers that Love to Play by Music For Littles. Our book this week was Sheep in a Jeep by Nancy Shaw. We also made crowns for our 100th day of preschool! We’re over halfway there, can you believe we ONLY have 33 more days of preschool left?!
Your kiddos brought their “stained glass” home this week. There’s a little suction cup hook for them to hang it up wherever they want. A window works best so the light shines through it.
Next week we’ll be focusing on the letter “K”, kangaroos, and kinetic sand. Don’t forget that Mrs. Schneck will be making a special guest appearance for the week while Mrs. Dorow is on vacay.
On Monday the MLS Children’s Theatre will present a play at 10:15am. AM parents, you are more than welcome to come early to watch the play with us. PM parents, if you’d like to bring your child early and watch the play with them you are more than welcome to join us. After the play is over you can walk them to class and get them signed in or out. The MLS presentations are so much fun, I hope you all can make it.
CEA meeting! Wednesday, after school, in Mr. Schneck’s classroom. It’s a great way to hear all about the great events Zion offers or will be offering. All the cool kids will be there!
Zion is hosting a diaper drive to benefit the Redford Pregnancy Counseling Center. We’re collecting all kinds of things-wipes, diapers, and other baby essentials. Please help us fill Mr. Schneck’s truck!
