Hello Parents,
Wow, The days are just flying by so fast! I just want to remind you that on Dec. 17th (Wed) we will have BOTH the morning and afternoon sessions come to school in the morning (8:00-11:00). So yes, we will have all 18 children here at the same time! That is because that is the day of our Christmas Program. (Btw, that means there will be NO afternoon school that day.) The children will practice all together for the 1st time before the actual program. Then at 10:30, you and any other family or friends you invite will come to church to hear the program. I just want to say how impressed I am with your kids!! They have learned a lot of words and some songs VERY QUICKLY! I am just so excited for you to see and hear our program. They sure are wonderful!
This week, we will be learning about the letter "j," the numbers 1-8, and the triangle. I timed it so we will be learning about "j" for Jesus. :) Also this week on Tues, it is picture retake day.
It was pretty cold this past week, but we still went outside every day but 1. So if you are wondering if we will go outside or not, chances are we WILL go outside. I am one of those freaks who love winter and the cold.
Just a reminder that we will be having a gift exchange in our classroom on Thurs, Dec. 18th. Everyone should have gotten a note saying whom to buy a present for, and what that person would like. If you didn't get that note, please don't hesitate to talk to me.
Finally, I will not be at school this Monday (Dec. 8th). I will be at a funeral. Mrs. Seibert will still be here. She will be the lead teacher and Miss Liechty will be the aide. Obviously, I will be back for the rest of the week.
