Our KDI for the week is community- children participate in the community of the classroom. We will work together learning our service, hearing about how the community celebrating Jesus birth came about and seeing that we are part of that community!
Table Activities- This week's table activities include Christmas playdough mats, Christmas experiments, painting with bows, cutting wrapping paper and ribbons, making a Christmas ornament suncatcher, Christmas coloring pages, wrapping gifts and playing with jingle bells.
Small Group Activities- This week we will make a nativity ornament, a star ornament, add a Christmas page to our journal and making our own cover for our Christmas service.
Large Group Activities- This week we hope to play hide and seek and follow the star.
Books of the Week- "Good News, Great Joy!" by Tim Wesemann, "Bright Star, Bright Star, What Do You See?" by Cassandre Maxwell, and "Oh, Come, Little Children" by Anita Reith Stohs.
Bible Story- For our Bible Story time this week, we will be practicing our Christmas service and listening to the entire Christmas story from Luke 2. We have been working on it since October, we are working hard to memorize and present! We can't wait to share it all with you!
